One shot of the spray should do the trick. No need to overdo that.
Yesterday, I cleaned all the pots in a friend's Walter Woods amp. They were really noisy.
He had come over to compare his unknown 15" system vs. my 112XLT. We even threw my old Peavey Minx 110 amp into the mix. He liked the 112, and I agree: its midrange sounds good on the upright.
He's gonna borrow the 112 for a New Years Eve gig on upright.
