Title: Which is the true Eden website?
Post by: DavidR8 on July 11, 2019, 11:18:45 AM
I found:
https://marshall.com/eden-amps

and

http://www.edenamps.net/

Both appear to have current content.

The .net site appears to be static, from two or three years ago.

On closer examination, the .net site looks to be in the UK but references the Marshall site.

The ".net" site used to be the ".com" site.  Then Marshall opened up a new "flashier-looking" site and that became the ".com" site.  Unfortunately it doesn't have a lot of the info that the old site did.

So, the Marshall site, which is what will appear if you type in www.edenamps.com, is the newer site.  Thank heavens they kept the old site as www.edenamps.net because it has far more and better info than the Marshall one does.  You will see some inconsistencies between them.  There have been some things dropped from the Eden line up that still appear on the ".net" site.  For instance the EX-112 cabs are not listed on the Marshall site because they are not making any more of them.  They are still on the .net site.

Hope that helps,
   Dan

The website and the information available on gear since Marshall took over, is dumbed down - a lot.  That's why I have the .net site in my bookmarks.

The manuals are basically, turn it on by pushing this button, and by the way, don't put your finger in the power outlet.

Very little real information on how the gear works and how to use it.

Used to even have some humour in the manuals - back in Lane's day.

Yes, the manual is not terribly informative but helpful for me who's never owned such a rig.

Hey David,

If you need one of the older manuals that has a LOT of great info in it, drop me a PM with your e-mail address telling me which one you want and, if I have it, I'll e-mail a pdf copy of it to you.

You can actually still get a lot of the old ones by going to the .net site.  Just click on "products" on the home page and select historical products from the drop-down list.  Once that page loads choose your amp from those.  Most of those amps and cabs will have a button on their page for your to download the manual.

If you have any trouble getting one, let me know and I'll check my stash!

Thanks Rip!
Do you have something for the NC200P other  than the manual?

Checked the catalogues that I have and can't find anything specific to your NC200 amp.

I have a copy of the manual from 1996 and the 2001 catalog has some pictures and a little blurb on it.  I can e-mail those to you if you like.  Just send me your e-mail in a PM and I'll send you pdf copies of both of them.
