A few tunes on myspace
« on: April 27, 2006, 04:44:11 PM »
I record some original stuff for fun on my Mac.  If you go to the link, you can check it out.  The first song is my attempt at Marcus' style using my Modulus VJ through a Nav into Garage Band.  I recorded this in between sets at a gig when we had a long break.  The second is a live recording of me playing my Modulus Q6 through the Nav and a QSC power amp with the Jason Fitts trio.  It's a simple trio of an acoustic guitar/vocalist, brushes on a snare, and me on bass.  The mix came out decent from the board.  The guitar player takes a ride and I do as well.  The other 2 are some metal ideas that I had.  I hope you enjoy it.

I'm feeling it, your tone is inspiring to say the least. If I could only get my ray to sound like that, not to say I don't enjoy my growl! Cheers!

Good stuff, as always, Eric.  I love the sound of your Modulus.  I wish I had one to go with my Ray cause the climate changes here on the Gulf Coast can really give my neck fits.  One of these days I will have a Q6!  I didn't know you had a VJ!  When did you get it?  Man we really gotta keep in touch more.  Now I'm really jealous!  Did I mention that I have an Eden cabinet and you do not?  :)
