When it all comes together
« on: March 26, 2006, 10:40:19 AM »
Due mainly from the knowledge and perspectives that I have acquired from this forum, I had a performance last nite where all fell into place..I reached my lil piece of bass heaven...You know when the chops are right ,you groovon in the pocket, and the sound from your rig is just right..Everything was so much in line that I put the 5 string down and pulled out the P/J Special..I had forgotten how nice and sweet 4 can be...I say all this as a testimonial to this forum which in my opinion is the best around..From gear choices, playing styles, and philophosies all have steered me in a direction that seems to have taken my playing and need to play to another level..I say thanks to one and all for sharing and putting up with the rookie questions...Thanks to all...REMEMBER DA GRUVE MAKES IT GO ROUND

Cool deal teecee, it's great when it all flows together like that!!
And yes switching back to a 4 banger is a lot of fun, I am going back to trying to strictly just play 4-string bass again after 15 years of playin nothing but 5-string basses. I even have a few of my 5-string basses for sale in my friends store!
