Ah-ha!  Glad I never tried it - I assume if I did it would not hurt the amp?  Not that I'm going to!

No problem, Paul, the class D amp has a lot of protective circuitry build in.

Guys.
Thank you so much for all the advice, tips and suggestions. What a great community!

Just to dumb things down for little ole' me, My TN501 has 3 speaker sockets. 1 speak!on and 2 std jack.
Should I just run one jacket lead to each cab (N410RS and D115 respectively, both 8phms) and that's that, or is there some mystical magical way I should be linking these for optimal sound/quality/power without blowing anything up?

Cheers guys

If you look at the back of the cabs you might find that one, or both, have two speakon terminals or two jack sockets.  This allows you to daisy chain them - from amp into one, then out from that to the other.  Or you could connect two jacks to the two jack sockets, it won't make any difference at all provided you don't increase the load on the amp.  Speakons are considered superior to jacks because they have more metal in contract but I doubt I could hear the difference.  They are more secure, of course, which is another plus, and the internal connections are screws like a plug rather that tags which require solder which can break etc...

Hi Guys.
Thank you for all your help.
Just a quick one. With regards connecting these up, is there a "right way" to do it?
How do I upload imaged from my desktop to show you what these cabs and amp have?
Thanks
Jay

Hi Jay,
there is no right or wrong way since all the connectors on the cabs and amps are in parallel.
I just prefer SPEAKON, after that 1/4" and least banana.
I modded all my amps and cabs that had banana connectors to SPEAKON.

Pictures you have to upload on a third party webpage and then link them here. I even use Facebook to do so.
Rock on!

Hi Guys.
Thanks for all the help and suggestions.
I now have an ace set up.
Terra Nova TN501 powering a 4 x 10" N410RS and 1 1 x 15" D115.
Just one thing, I want to have the D115 on the floor and the 4 x 10 on top (Natural order of things, 15" bass speaker low down, 4 x 10" more top end speakers up above. However, the D115 cab is approx. 2" narrower from left to right!
I didn't realise this till I got it!
So if I put the D115 on the bottom, the top cab will over hang 1" either side.
Does anyone have any suggestions to what I could do to make this aesthetically pleasing?
I know it may sound trivial but I don't want it looking top heavy!
Any suggestions guys?
Thanks
Jay

Hi,
lay the D115 on the side. It is about 2" higher in height than it is in width.
Just an idea.
