Hi,
I don't know anyone who tested this in Bridge Mode.
On a single channel of course possible, but bridge output is for 8 Ohm maximum load.
Rock on!

If you can find a WTC800C with the backlit logo on the front, you can run it bridged with that.  It will bridge  down to 4 ohms and the D610XLT is a 6 ohm cab.

Actually, according to David Nordschow, even the old WT800A's that bridge to 8 ohm minimum load,  can safely be used to power that D610XLT @ 6 ohms.  I know Lane Baldwin used to do that all the time.

No idea if the new WTP's can do that because they were designed by Marshall's team, not by David and Marshall specifies an 8 ohm minimum load.  They also have put in a lot of safeguards to protect against ohm mismatches in the WTP series.  So even if it could safely bridge down to 6 ohms, it may not let you try that.  I certainly wouldn't try to push it.

Like Armin said, probably the best bet is to run it from one channel, or get a second one and run each of them in separate channels.

That was the reason why I bought a WTP Pre and a power amp, to accommodate my setups better.

Thanks Dan
Too bad it seems like merging the new with the old is not going to work in my case!

Sorry to hear that.  If you haven't already purchased the WTP900, you might look for a used WT800C (with the back lit logo) instead.  It will easily handle that in bridged mode and get you about 1000-watts doing it.
