Okay, we all know none of us can helping monkeying around with our gear -- adding features, mods and doodads to make them work better or more convenient. So what's your favorite addition or modification to your rig.

Here's mine -- magnetic cupholder. Genius!

I have a cupholder (be honest - beer holder) which clamps to my microphone stand - don't even need to turn round... best modification though?  Putting a DiMarzio Model One into my 25-year old Epiphone EB0 - oh yessss....

I make beer, but haven't put a cupholder on my gear yet.  Just put a Pale Ale into the primary fermentor yesterday evening (will be ready in about 4-weeks), am drinking an Irish Stout currently (Dangerous Dan's Irish Stout) with a little over a case left, and unfortunately finished off my Seamus Copper Ale (named after my cat!) that was a Düsseldorf Altbier.

I like the idea of a magnetic cupholder.  That must use one strong magnet!  Hey Paul, do you have a picture of your clamp on holder.  I'd probably use it for water most of the time, but I like the idea of clamping it onto my mic stand.

Hey Armin,  would a strong enough magnet to hold a beer on the rack ears be in any way derogatory for the operation of the amp...outside of the operator's performance of course. :P

Here's a link to our favourite German supplier - and this is the model I use... would work for water too but... can't see the point unless I'm driving... https://www.thomann.de/gb/km_16020bk_getraenkehalter.htm?ref=search_rslt_glass+holder_152927_32

So just reach down with the right hand and it's there - of course if you are left handed...

I like that clamp-on cup holder better than the Swirlygig holder I use -- the Swirlygig doesn't clamp securely so there's usually some wobble or I need to bend the part that mates with the stand which isn't easy.

Might be time to change cup holders.  Edit: it's definitely time to change holders since I found a clamp-on holder like Paul's attached to an unused mobility walker that I bought when my wife had foot surgery a few years ago.  Thanks for the idea, Paul!  If anyone in the house ever needs the walker, I'll stick the Swirlygig on it.  ;)

I use several of those Paul has.
K&M builds some awesome gadgets.

No problem with the magnets, otherwise we wouldn't put amps on cabs, wouldn't we? :D

Been using mine for over a year -- holds a 20-oz beverage securely -- no issues.
