There's a nod to the venerable WT series in the Historical Products section, but only in a general sense.

Yeah, I know.  But the days of bridging an Eden amp at 1100 watts into a 4 ohm cab like the WT810XT is now a thing of the past.  The new stuff can't do that.  Most it will put into it is 450 watts.  It's just sad that we'd have to use someone else's amp to get the most out of our biggest cab because we no longer make one powerful enough.  Hopefully they will re-visit the power sections to come up with one that will bridge into 4 ohms again.

I really do like the adjustable compressor and ease of use features of the WTP line though.

Nope,
WTP Pre with power amp.
Same way I did it before with the NAV.

That's still the way I run my 2 410s.

I'm excited to compare the WTPPre to my WT800 because I have been talking with my guitar player about going to a rack system and in-ears instead of the half stacks!

I hope my store starts to stock Eden again. I haven't had a chance to check out any of the new gear. But then again never had to look for anything else with the amp I already have.

What has everyone been using for a power amp as I haven't seen an Eden power amp myself. Anyone try it with a Mesa or Marshall tube power amp?
My Rig: 00' Eden WT800, Eden D410XLT, Eden WTDI, EH Bass Big Muff, Art 351 31 Band EQ

My Arsenal: Music Man Stingray Classic 5, Fender USA Precision Bass

Any questions!

With the NAV I used different power amps.
Eden power amps like WT1000 and WT1250. Never had a WT1550, damn.
A few ClassD amps, including the one I build myself.
Personally I would never put a tube power amp behind the WTP Pre, the amp has such an amazing sound, no need to color the sound with such an amp. Plus the tube hassle and the weight.
For me it will be a powerful ClassD with 1 HE.

Use my Navigator Pres (WT100 and WTX1000N) with a QSC PL230 power amp.

575 watts/channel into 8 ohms
900 watts/channel into 4 ohms

Bridged Mono
1800 watts into 8 ohms
3000 watts into 4 ohms

I run my two 410s either 575 per channel or 1800 bridged.

Works sweet!  ;D

Wouldn't want to colour the sound from the pre's with a tube amp either.

Woah, I haven't been here in a while and there is no access to where the Eden dealers or service centres are without contacting the distributor. Not very helpful if you need to get an amp fixed. (Or want to buy a new one if you were looking).
That's the only website I've ever seen that was so secretive about where to find or fix the product.
Not whining about it, just constructive criticism.

Gotcha. I didn't notice how new it was. I went to a relatively new music store just outside Toronto not long ago and was pleasantly surprised to find they were an Eden dealer. Newer, very large store too with a great layout.
