Last for a while... Warwick Streamer Stage 1 Broad Neck...

This one moved in yesterday. A nice bass at a more than nice price:


Streamer Stage One - the One series has maple neck and maple body wings. MEC active electronics and oiled finish. Thru neck, of course. My only thru-neck bass...

Yeah, too many toys.  I'd never leave.  What's the string spacing on that beast?  Looks like it's nice and wide, like a 4- string.

It has adjustable spacing, but it is a tad more than a Fender four string: 20 mm compared to 19 mm or 3/4". It has a really hitech tone if you want. You can also play it passive with no volume loss. Then it is more like a Jazz Bass.

Well, it seems like "for a while" was a rather short while...
A brother to the SS1 has surfaced, a Custom Shop Streamer Stage 1 Broad Neck fretless six string. I've sold off some gear, so we'll see, we'll see. I'm just waiting for the seller to make up his mind. It looks a bit like this:

Just with honey stain and lined ebony board...
