That's pretty nice Roger! Expensive or not, those must be rare. Is it a National?
Several guitar buddies play 6 string Nationals but I've never seen a bass like that.
Do ya have to play it with a slide?  ;) ;)

No, not a National - a Chinese(?) built Ozark 3516 Resophonic Bass. It cost me around two ordinary effect pedals used. I play it traditionally, maybe a bit more with a pick just to get the right "thwangh" out of it...  ;D

I like the tone of it, sounds like a resonator. The guy playing was interesting, playing both parts of Lady Madonna at once.  :)
The other video didn't come through.
Thanks Roger!

There is something weird going on with the other video clip; it isn't possible to copy the link and paste it. The letters change.
Anyway, look at the first video and then roll down to LA VAGUE: "STRAIGHT CONTRARIWISE" (Voice & Resophonic Bass)

LOL...I see what it is.  There's a macro in place in the coding for the forum that automatically turns the letters D N A when typed next to each other into Gene Pool.  The last three letters in that link are"D.n.A" without the periods in it, so it turns into Gene Pool.
