I'm trying so hard to have faith in these new Marshall/Eden products, but alas, the last time I purchased an Eden product that was solid was the WT1205. Anything after that just hasn't been the same.  ::)

The new wt pro amplifiers look very interesting indeed. And covers too.I just want to see a photo detail on the covers myself since if they are what I expect I may have to order a couple for my cabs.

Looks a bit like a mash-up of the WP100 (compressor, etc.) and the WT800, with a bit more power.  No mention of a pedal . . . .

Need more details  ;D

You're right, but the manual (which is somewhat uninformative) and new catalog indicate that it can use a footswitch.  Apparently it has a second tube for the tube circuit.  And, for reasons that entirely escape me in this day and age, it looks like they kept the biamp feature (but moved the controls to the back of the amp) on the WTP900.  And I suspect the on-line pictures of the back of the new WTP600 are just wrong (it's a mono amp, but also has crossover and balance knobs on the back)

The other thing notable about the new catalog is that the WT800 and WT550 aren't in it.  Given that omission, I gather that these new amps are in fact replacements for the old heads, and not merely additions to the product line.  So, this may be a golden opportunity to obtain a WT550 or WT800 at close-out prices.

Using a second tube for the gain is a real improvement, as is the better compressor.  Pix show a toroidal transformer so the amps are still "lead sleds."  The cosmetic update is nice.

Hi Eden folks
the new eden wtp- series looks sooo good and must be sound like the older wt- series and better with the new upgrades!!!
i would like to suggest  to my oppinion to the electronic design   team of  the eden

the balance knob for me must be  on the front panel of the amp !!!
with the balance knob i adjust   the   "tune - tuning"  of  the cabs !!
depending the loudness of  the rooms  halls  stages .. !!
i use  it  THIS knob  very  often !!!
depending from the place who i play  and the needs of my tone thru the band ...!!
this is my oppinion..
Friendly
Tom

I think the new gold is nice and useful, because you can read the labels better.

I don't think so. My guess:
To save cost they did build one PCB for all of the new WTP back panel.
The crossover function is available and different signals are send to the line outputs of the amp.
No idea which signal is send then to the speaker output. Maybe you can cycle that???

It certainly appears that the *old* Eden amplifier staples are gone, nothing left from the former glory days.
I guess time, and how these new models go over in todays market will tell the tale... stay tuned!
