Eden Micro Amp
« on: January 07, 2015, 10:12:00 AM »
So I've been waiting a long time for this kind of product!

Ok, in reality, I hadn't conceived of an Eden Micro Amp combo, but now I want one.

Any chance we can get a list of dealers? I can't seem to find a local dealer that knows anything about this new release, let alone having one in stock.

2.5 watts?
It'll pair well with your D.N.A. 1350  ;)

May as well have both ends of the spectrum don't you think? ;)

I think at the moment, it's just been announced via Facebook.

So for those of you who were wondering what you could see on Monday this week? We can reveal that Eden has designed a Micro Amp just for bass players! running on either 8AA batteries or using an Eden 15v power supply the MicroTour offers 2W of power into a custom designed ported and tuned enclosure. Volume and tone controls as well as a headphone out mean practice in private is now a real possibility. And of course the mini Eden Tower Design with Micro Eden Badge look awesome too. Ask your nearest Dealer to get one in for you now!

PS- I've seen these and they are boss.

Cool.....campfire rig.
Or......now you can practice/play along with the car stereo when you're stuck in a traffic jam.
Or......play bass during a power outage.
Or......play bass by the pool/beach. :D

For all our cries for more power out of a micro head this is what Eden comes up with????  Yet another year of disappointment in the Marshall controlled Eden era.  :(

This is the complete opposite to some of our requests.  I almost feel insulted. LOL!

IMO 2.5 Watts will be useless with bass and such a small speaker.  I use a Phil Jones Double Four for small portable bass.  There's a company that brings innovation to the market!  So let down by Eden these days...

I guess I shouldn't have expected more.  It looks to me like Marshall is running Eden like they run Marshall.  It's an established brand that needs no innovation to remain profitable based on the fine products of the past.  The only innovation Marshall has done is to bring the Marshall bar fridge and Marshall mini stack amps like this new Eden release.   It would seem Marshalls marketing people have more pull than their Engineers.

I guess I explained it before.

As for the micro rig, I don't really see a use for that, except my case, since I travel really a lot. I will give it a try.

Bill, there is a fault in the manual. The headphone out (6) is labeled with #7, so is the power input.
See page 7 and other languages.

Yep,

Looks to me like the headphone out is on the side of the cab and should be labelled #6.  The power supply is on the back of the amp, properly labelled #7.
