hello  i am working on a eden wt 500 and i have found the balance pot is broken.

the strange part about this is that it is a 100k linear pot, not a balance type pot, and it was hard wired in backwards instead of being mounted to the pc board!

any clue as to what is going on here?

regards

Hi Dan and welcome to the Garden!

I guess that this is another example of "No problem, I can do this" and the reason why Eden is not handing out schematics anymore and recommends to bring the gear to a certified Customer Service Center.
You are right, the pot is normally mounted on the PCB. 100k is ok.
Rock on!

No schematics available!!! Don't ask for it.
