Hi jhk2385 and welcome to the Garden,
You are not that new, but you don't write that often :D
The easiest way to get that pot is to order one from your next Eden dealer.
The Alpha pots are hard to find anywhere in a shop, except the few standard types they have.

Thanks for prompt reply....... historically I`ve not had great experiences with the UK dealers in the past........ Now it`s under `marshall` management I`ll give it a try and see if they can help me.....

Hi Jon,

I think you'll be surprised how much customer support has changed since Marshall took over.   I would be surprised if you had a problem and if you do, Armin can help.

I`ve just gone to `marshall`s` website and there`s no mention of eden.........................on eden`s website theres no link to any UK dealers currently.......other than marshall announcement dated december 2011.............and ,more importantly thus far ,a way of ordering those elusive pots........

I finally got a reply from `Marshall` and I`ll cut and paste the exact contents....................

Hello Jon,

Thank you for your e-mail regarding the Eden parts we can supply these for you, could you please let me know what values the pots are you need as these have been changed over time, then I will be able to give you a price.

Kind Regards

Now...... my problem is that this is the reply to my request for the pot for a master volume on a WT500 model..............................It does not fill me with great confidence ( I`m in an ironic situation) that no one seems able to give me exact values for pot supply ,when the supplier, now supposed main dealer for UK,is now asking ME for the description/values..............

It feels like a closely guarded secret that no one wants me to have................

I`d like to think that I`ll get the details eventually, but right now I`m no wiser...................

I don't really understand the problem.
They offer to send you the right pot, while Eden is usually not doing this.
When you want to change the pot yourself fine, but then you should be able to say what type it is. It really isn't that hard.
I can have a look in the drawing and tell you what is mentioned there, but that is no guarantee that it is correct.
I would open the unit, check what type it is and order. I never ordered such a part according schematic. I bet the audio tapper is not mentioned in there as well.
You can not Eden blame today, because in the early years they just made hand drawings as s hematics and many things were maybe just stored in some of the propeller heads.
I check the schematic and let you know and you better get your resistance meter ready :D

thank you  sir  for the information................it seems strange that `marshall` don`t seem to have access/tech knowledge of equipment they are now dealers for...............just for the record,is it the same pot for my WT600 and metro combo as well(master volume that is) as the lay out on the front panel looks identical?
