Gianni Serino
« on: January 28, 2013, 09:42:56 PM »
This guy is a bit of Claypool, Markus Miller, Jaco and Wooten all frankenstiened into one god damn freak to freak out the freaks!

This is in fact an oldie from Gianni as I saw this vid several years back. Watch this, be amazed and look up more of his vids......if you dare!  :o

It is amazing, but the same for me as watching Victor.
I can watch it for 5-10 minutes, be amazed, get inspired.
But for my listening pleasure I go back to Marcus and enjoy the groove.

Great solo skills, both Gianni and Victor, but basically of no use in a band, unless you are the frontman and everyone else in the band simply supports your "skilz".

Like Armin, I find that interesting and impressive, but not my favourite use of a bass.

I agree 100% fellas. I just enjoy watching this guy go through the motions though and annihilate that thing!
His play here is definately more of a soloist thing and no real use for a band (not that anyone else could get a note in somewhere! lol) but facinating to watch him go for broke all the same.
