« on: March 05, 2010, 07:24:48 AM »
Hello,

Here are three songs which were recorded using my Stingray and Eden Rig.
Most of the signal came from the DI on the wt800

Let me know your thoughts..

Hey Pastorofmuppets,

Great sound out of your bass and rig!  Really clear and well mixed recording.  Loved the "Red Neck Roots".  Mix was so clear you could distinguish both guitars when the second one came in during the lead.  Real easy for individual sound to get lost when both are running distortion and this was very clear - like the difference between a Les Paul and a Strat. Nice bass lines that sat beautifully in the mix throughout. Vocals and harmonies were spot on.  That's a seriously great recording of a very fine song.

Liked the other two songs too, but I have an unfair personal pre-disposition against country music because of some touring I did back in the 70's.  Played way too many 3-chord wonder country songs that only allowed me to thump.  Modern country music is not like that and neither are these other two songs, but I got so tired of playing C-G, C-G, C-G, C, that I never give country music a fair shake.  It's a personal thing...

Thanks for sharing your music and great sounding recordings

+1

Dan

Very nice work! Solid playing, good songwriting, arranging, production, engineering. Not just blowin' smoke, bro, if I were A&R, I'd be talking to you guys!

That Stingray sounds downright EVIL in the first tune. Most of the time I don't use a really scooped sound like that, but it's just what that tune needed!

Really nice work!

Very nice recording.  Well done.  I really liked the Redneck Roots as well.

The other two were certainly solid, well done country tunes.

Enjoyed 'em a lot! [8D]
