This story is pretty old, but it's my best Eden survival.  My wife and I were newly married and still living in an apartment complex.  This complex didn't have assigned parking.  So if you came home later than 8pm, you were likely to park very far from your apartment.  This complex also didn't have covered parking, or covered walkways.

So one night (read 2:30am), I had come home from a gig.  I had to park very far from my apartment near the road that lead to the complex.  It was a cold, rainy night, so I new I was in for a treat.  I also should have mentioned that this complex also didn't have security guards or cameras.  Anyway, this was the reason I didn't want to leave my rig in my car.

So I hurridly got my gear out, stacked it up and began to roll it towards my apartment.  Just then the rain and wind really picked up.  I picked up my speed in turn.  It was raining so hard I had put my head down to avoid the rain in the eyes.  This kept me from seeing the storm drain coming.  My rig went flying when the front wheels feel into the holes in the grate.  It hit so hard that both lids flew off my skb rack case.  My wife was not too happy with me when I got my rig home and had to plug it in to see if it worked...and it did.  Eden stuff is built like a tank.
