Electronic testing?
« on: June 13, 2009, 08:17:42 PM »
I repair stuff for my son's band.  Electronic, tube, preamp, MOSFET.  If you want to run anything by me.  I'm here.

I'm an electrical engineer.  Worked in telecomm too.
I've built home theater speakers.  Used tactile speakers in systems.  My last home theater speaker bass was a 15" Dayton port tuned down to 17Hz!  Truly infra-sonic!

My son wants an 8 string guitar...has anyone thought about a 7 string Bass?  Who wants to be limited to 47Hz?

I built a Class D bass amp for my sub-woofer, linear down to 10Hz!

Hi there, I specialize in software development and electronics sphere is not clear for me yet. So I'd like to know what Class D amplifier means and how it differes from other classes? Thank you.
