Need a Replacement Potentiometer
« on: February 26, 2009, 02:52:39 AM »
Hi everyone!

Hi I would need a replacement potentiometer for a wt-800, very first one on top right hand side saying 1.2k/6.6k/12k "high", from the inside of chassis it says "E.C.I. " @ c100k, looks like a dual pot..

I think "ECI" are out of besiness, can't find anything from the store

Anyone has the info?

Best Regards and Thanx in advance![:)]

Hi VH-lover,
you're right it is a 100k dual pot.
VR10 on the board.
Good advice from Duff!
Otherwise get a good 16mm pot like alps
from your local dealer.

Thx everyone!! SO a good regular 16mm dual/100k alpha or else would work as well?? Linear I suppose??

If you make amps you know what pot to use or
how to find out if it is linear or not [;)]
Alpha is also ok, Eden uses DI YA

Hey groovestore78,

Welcome to the Garden!

Armin (Basmann1968) will probably pop in shortly.  He's from Germany and should have some suggestions on where to get the parts.  I presume you've already contacted Eden?  If not, you need to do that.

Thanks,
    Dan

Hi and welcome to the Garden!

At first, the original 16mm pots are hard to find. As I wrote before, the easiest way is to find a proper replacement from another brand.

But give it a try and contact Lauda Audio in Poland and see if they can help you out.
Rock on!
Armin
