How can I find out how to include pics with a post?

We did have a sticky about this but it appears to have been sucked into the vortex and gone for good.

If you upload your photos to a site such as Photobucket you can copy the IMG code for your photo and paste it into your forum thread. This is really the easiest way of doing it.

Ok guys what the heck am I doing wrong? Per instructions,  I loaded a pic to Photo Bucket, I right click the photo, then click on copy link, and paste it here, and this is what I get.

I swear I did the exact same thing on my introduction page and at least I got a functioning link. I really would like to get the actual picture loaded but apparently, it's a few steps above my pay grade.

Open the pic in photobucket.
Right click on the pic
Copy URL of the pic
Come here and click on the Mona Lisa
Insert in the text box the copied URL.

When you load a photo into photobucket, and you run your mouse over your picture, you get several link options. On my account the fifth option down which says "IMG code" is one you can copy and then past directly into your forum post. it will be the URL preceded by [ IMG ]http://  ..... and ends with [ IMG ].

This method also works as well as the mona lisa method Armin mentioned.
