Great story, Jim, except for the part about struggling with heavy gear--we all get to that point some day (I have) so we understand completely.  Keep on keepin' on!  Bob

Thanks Bob!
If I were 35 years younger I'd have the D210 and a D410 to put under it. Maybe even a Thunder Rig too.  8)
I'm happy with the single 12's though. They sound great and in my (somewhat biased) opinion are the best 12's on the market. I have two great amps too, so my quest from here will be to have a couple more 112's and maybe a WTP and Terra Nova.
I'm still gonna have GAS so I'll need to do something.  ;)

Re: Eden Sighting! Crystal Bowersox

Crystal Bowersox played at the Clyde , Ohio high school theater last week.  Excellent show, all originals except one.  Extremely tight and talented band, particularly their volume discipline, coming way up and way down together as each song's mood changed.  Good background vocals.  And she was fantastic, what a voice, and great interaction with what was basically a hometown crowd of about 2,000.  She tours a lot, mostly medium sized places.

The bass player, Lucas, was playing a Music Man through a WT800 into an XLT410.  Sounded damned good going through the DI to the FOH.  Which is a well balanced system in a very good venue for acoustics.  The dynamics were incredible.  Everyone was very clearly heard and the volume was nice, it picked up the nuances of their playing.  Must have been a pretty good sound dude running things, too.  Kind of a pleasant surprise in a small town.  Overall a very nice show.

Here's a couple of lousy phone pics.  Maybe.  OK, I forgot how, apparently.  No problem, they weren't that good anyway.

I thought they were, I put in the Dropbox public links it gave me.  Isn't that all there is to it?  Like I said, not that good anyway, not enough light.  Edit: tried it again, no luck.

Heh, I don't care how many pixels it has, if the lens is the size of a SenSen it can't be gathering that much light!
