Eden Sighting!
« on: May 10, 2005, 11:07:00 PM »
I'm watching Emeril Live and Big Al and the Heavyweights is the house band. The bass player is playing what looks like a WT800 on top of a D410XST.

whoohooo!

The theme tonight is cajun!

I happened to catch Will Ferrel on "The View" this morning and Fantasia Burrino's bassist was using Eden. No close-ups, though

I got tricked into watching "Half-Baked" by some friends the other night...  I noticed that in Jon Stewarts apartment, there was an Eden cab in the background, and of course, everyone scowled at me for being such a nerd...

Anyone wanna give me a WT-400???
Beware the fiscal array.

Lane - sticky post? This is great stuff as long as everyone keeps it concise and easily referencable.

OK...I'll stick it and leave it stuck as long as things don't go off track.

Ther really seems to ba a culture chasm this side of the pond. We have the fairly predictable assortment of 'popular' music tv shows but when the close-ups happen its always of some stupid prepubescent boy (aka: lead guitarist) trying to saw his axe in half with his plectrum (that takes raw talent, let me tell you). The bass player, usually with a F****r slung around his knees looking bore sh**less, never gets a look in - much less his gear.
Kinda explains why so few players here see Eden as high profile.
Just though I'd share that.

I will however make a solemn promise - witnessed by all here on the forum.
In the event that I begin to get more TV exposure, I will make sure that my rig is in full view. (This could very posibly happen again soon, so no idle bull)
Y'know, I still can't believe I have to walk past a store called Garden of Eden twice a day to have lunch! Spooky!!!

The more I learn, the less I know.
Still learning to play: MM Stingray5, NS CR5 eub, Lakland Joe Osborne sig 5. WT800, 210xlt, 410xlt, G-B Streamliner 900 and still getting up to no good in a kilt!

Last week on Conan O'Brien!: The bass player from Amos Lee was using an upright hooked up to a WT-800 on top of a 410xlt.
